I am a parent of Montessori students. I have had my own kids in public Montessori, Montessori homeschool, and Montessori remote learning environments. I have experienced all of these situations first-hand as a parent, which has equipped me in unique and powerful ways to understand the needs and perspectives of Montessori parents.
I understand the challenges that Montessori parents face. I am able to provide resources, workshops, and mini-courses to help parents learn and understand Montessori philosophy as well as the progression of lessons through the sequence across the curriculum. I am able to demonstrate lessons and explain why the lessons are presented in the manner they are given in and what to look for in terms of lesson mastery when watching children work with the Montessori follow-up work and materials.
My goal is to empower parents of Montessori students to help them facilitate their children’s learning, stay true to the practices of Montessori education as they were intended, and to engage in meaningful ways with their children as they travel their own unique educational journey.
