Jen Turkaly

Owner/Consultant/Coach
Brief info

I have fulfilled many roles as a student, teacher, community member, parent, homeschool teacher, advocate, researcher, and enthusiast in my journey as a Montessorian. I look forward to using my expertise and experiences to help clients and customers as they navigate their own Montessori journeys.

My name is Jen. I am a single mother, an educator; trained and experienced in traditional, Waldorf, and Montessori education methods, a homeschool parent, a teacher coach, a remote-learning teacher and an entrepreneur. My journey in education began over 20 years ago. Over the last 20 + years, I have fulfilled many roles in regards to educating children and adults. I have taught everything from preschool through high school. I have worked in private schools, public schools, charter schools, non-profit educational programs, and as a homeschool parent/teacher. I have taught in classrooms, directed programs, started schools, been an educational consultant, mentored student-teachers, participated in parent education groups in our community, advocated for the needs of my own children and the students I worked with, and homeschooled my son using the Montessori education method. My background is varied and diversified. I have a unique perspective on how education can be accomplished using practices that some may call “outside the box.”

My goal is to help people use concrete tools and methods to help guide children to learn, explore, be curious, ask questions, self-advocate, and grow up to be productive adults.
