We can lead a student through a series of brief assessment activities across the curriculum to quickly and easily assess the student’s current level of instruction based on their individual strengths and challenges. These assessments usually take about 30-45 minutes, depending on what is being assessed. After the assessment is complete, a separate consultation meeting is held with the assessor and the adult to discuss the results of the assessment. These assessments are helpful in determining a student’s needs and serves as a guide when we begin discussing an individualized learning program plan for the student.
